Preeclampsia is serious medical condition involving high blood pressure which develops during pregnancy. It is complication of pregnancy, which can happen in woman who never had history of high blood pressure.
Untreated or improperly treated preeclampsia may lead to serious consequences in mother and baby.

– Vision problems
– Blurring of vision
– Flashing before eyes
– Pain below ribs
– Vomiting
– Sudden swelling of face, hands or feet
Other hypertensive disorders
Gestational hypertension is high blood pressure that begins after 20 weeks but without other problems beside high blood pressure. Although some women with gestational hypertension may develop preeclampsia.
Chronic hypertension is when woman is already known hypertensive. Precampsia may develop in these woman along with its all complication.
