Pregnant people, for vomiting what you can do ...

Symptoms generally resolve by mid-pregnancy, whether or not you require any treatment. Lifestyle modifications and treatment will may not completely cure your nausea and vomiting. The goal is to decrease symptoms enough so you  can eat and drink for appropriate fetal growth and your own energy requirements for daily activities

Dietary changes

Avoid being hungry: Try eating before you feel hungry or as soon as you feel hungry.

Avoid overeating: It can make nausea and vomiting worse.

Frequent small meals: Eat snacks frequently. Try to have multiple small meals like six small meals a day. 

Choosing food: Choose food that is high in protein or carbohydrrate and low in fat.

Bland diet: Avoid taking food with strong odors. Take food when its room temperature with no strong odors. 

Drink in small amounts between meals: Take cold, clear, and carbonated or sour fluids eg, ginger ale, lemonade.

Activities after meals: Brushing teeth after eating may help prevent symptoms. Avoid lying down immediately after eating and avoid quickly changing positions. 

Prenatal vitamins: If supplements worsen the vomiting, try taking them at bedtime. If symptom still persists then stop supplement temporarily and inform your care provider. 

Avoid triggers

Food triggers: Eliminate food triggers like spicy foods, high-fat foods and snacks high in sugar.

Odor triggers: Perfume, chemicals, coffee, food and smoke. Smelling fresh lemon, mint, or orange or using an oil diffuser with these scents may also be useful.

Avoid fatigue. Feeling tired or excessive exercise can make you feel more nauseating. 

Avoid stuffy places: Heat and humidity and noise can also make you more nauseating.

Avoid any visual or physical motion which makes you nauseating: Like flickering lights, driving

Excessive salivation (ptyalism): which happens due to poor swallowing in pregnancy in some woman can also trigger nausea and vomiting. 

Complementary treatments 

The following treatments may be useful when used with other treatments.

Acupuncture and acupressure: Acupuncture and acupressure can be tried. It have no known harmful side effects to mother or baby.

Hypnosis and counseling: Hypnosis may be helpful in some pregnant people. 

Ginger: Powdered ginger or ginger tea may help to relieve nausea and vomiting in some women.
